The Beginning
Twiss Transport was founded in late 2001 as an LTL and truckload freight shipping company and has grown significantly ever since. We currently run 50+ company trucks consisting of mostly newer Freightliner Columbias. We also have 40+ owner operators leased on with our company. We have 120+ 53 foot refrigerated trailers with air ride suspensions capable of -10 degree temperatures.
What We Do
We haul mostly LTL and truckload freight. LTL stands for less than (truck) load and means that you can ship any amount of pallets fewer than a truckload and receive a prorated rate. So if you need one pallet shipped to California, you only pay a rate for one pallet. We then group the freight together and send many shipments out at the same time. This equals huge savings to your freight costs.
Our truckload freight shipping service extends to the continental United States. Our LTL freight shipping service reaches every state except Hawaii, Alaska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
We are licensed and insured to haul almost any kind of freight. Most of our drivers are capable of handling Hazmat loads, also.
Branching Out
Recently we've started expanding beyond just freight shipping. We now offer cold storage and dry storage services. We also have a truckload freight broker service and an LTL freight broker service. We truly are your one stop shop for freight shipping, freight storage, and freight brokering.
